The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment. In this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation. How you'll create opportunities in this Manager/ Director - Property Tax role: File real property tax appeals on behalf of clients as needed Utilize available resources to perform Cost, Market and Income Approach valuations for properties to be appealed Identify resources needed for valuation Review client real estate holdings to identify property tax appeal opportunities Represent clients in negotiations with taxing authorities Develop Staff to support real property tax appeals process Provide support and guidance for Personal Property Tax Compliance Team Help identify consulting opportunities and potential areas of risk for Personal Property Tax returns process Partner with Industry leaders to develop thought leadership plans for property tax What you will need: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Experience: Six years of experience serving in a tax role with a public accounting firm and/or professional services firm. Certification/ Licenses: CPA certification. JD or EA (Enrolled Agent) may be accepted in place of CPA certification. Deep knowledge and understanding of State & Local Tax and Property Tax preferred. The wage range for this position is: $107,000 - $204,000. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
