Overview Bob Hewes Boats is a fourth-, family-owned dealership that has proudly served boaters since 1926. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marine Parts Counterperson to join our team. This full-time role requires strong customer service skills, organizational ability, and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required. Key Responsibilities Assist customers at the parts counter and over the phone with professionalism and accuracy Identify, locate, and sell marine parts, including Yamaha products (experience but training available) Maintain parts inventory, including stocking, organizing, and ordering as needed Process shipping and receiving of parts orders Handle sales, inquiries, and online transactions Keep the department clean, organized, and running efficiently Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all clients Participate in ongoing training and educational opportunities to enhance product knowledge Qualifications Previous experience in a marine parts department Knowledge of Yamaha parts a plus, with willingness to learn more Bilingual (English & Spanish) required Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a busy environment Proficiency with computers and online sales platforms Shipping/receiving experience a plus Motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic Team player with a professional and outgoing demeanor Must be detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks without losing accuracy Must pass pre-employment drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace) Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Medical insurance Paid vacation (after one year) Employee discounts on marine products and services Supportive, family-run work environment How to Apply If you are bilingual, customer-focused, and looking to build a career in the marine industry, we’d love to hear from you!
