Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job DescriptionAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will work in various departments and must be flexible and eager to grow. Your tasks include assembling hatches and panels using hand and power tools, preparing panels for painting, packaging completed assemblies, and cross-training in various departments.
ResponsibilitiesWe offer annual reviews for raises, profit sharing for all direct employees, 14 days of PTO, 9 paid holidays, 401k match, health insurance, FSA, and tuition reimbursement. You'll work on interesting projects like stair nosings for Sofi Stadium and access panels for Disneyworld.
Work EnvironmentThis is a 90-day Weekend Shift trial where you'll work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5am-5:30pm. During this period, management will decide if the Weekend Shift will become permanent. The team consists of 10 people manufacturing one product in a metal manufacturing environment similar to an auto body shop. You must wear pants (no sweats or athletic wear), a short-sleeve shirt or longer, and steel-toed boots. This is a non-union shop.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
