LinQuest Corporation is seeking a Military Air and Space Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Modeler who will help advance Department of Defense (DoD) capabilities to conduct mission-level modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of complex, adaptive kill webs. The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Reston, VA with anticipated travel in support of the SWAC’s priorities. Key Responsibilities The selected individual will serve on a broader multi-disciplinary team of operational military subject matter experts, operations research analysts, and modelers conducting sponsor-directed studies and analyses using appropriate tools and models. Other applicant requirements and job functions include: Strong knowledge of current and emerging operational requirements and capabilities of the Combatant Commands, Services, the Joint Staff and other warfighting commands, as well as operational and tactical experience with beyond-visual range air-to-air and air-to-surface tactics, Air or Integrated Tasking Orders (ATO or ITO), as well as with joint and service military planning of the same. Development of US Joint Air Operations concepts of operations (CONOPS) and incorporation of emerging warfighting concepts into a joint, all-domain modeling & simulation environment. Assist with the development of behaviors and decision structures for simulation execution, and with interpretation of simulation outputs. Contribute expertise during the conduct of studies for senior-level military decision makers, technology developers, and acquisition professionals for use in CONOPS development, force structure design, resource allocation, and targeted technology insertion. Lead small teams or tasks in support of the broader overall effort. The ideal candidate will have practical experience using AFSIM or similar mission-level M&S software. The qualified applicant will support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center’s (SWAC) Force Design Integration Office (FDIO) in Reston, VA with anticipated travel in support of the SWAC’s priorities. Required Skills and Experience: Strong technical background with strong aptitude and willingness to learn M&S scripting language (may substitute with at least one year of hands-on experience with mission-level combat modeling & simulation) Expert knowledge/experience in Joint warfighting capabilities, advanced weapons, current and future operational concepts Ability to adjust quickly to new organizational, technological, and employment constructs for planning and CONOPs development Excellent project management and/or Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) skills Ability to think creatively and function as part of a high-performing team Ability to coordinate with government and external contractor stakeholders to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify objectives Excellent oral and written communications skills Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, plus 12 years of experience, or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline, plus 10 years of experience Military Joint Qualified Officer (JQO) designation Must have an active

TS/SCI

clearance to be considered for the position Direct experience developing concepts of operation and/or courses of action in support of Joint Operational Planning efforts Active DoD Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility Eligible for Special Access Program (SAP) access ability to work in a secure, confined location is required Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong background in Joint all-domain operations including space, air, maritime, land, and cyber
• General working-level knowledge of AFSIM; familiarity with NGTS, ITASE, or other mission-level M&S environment
• Specific working-level knowledge of behavior and BMC2 modeling in AFSIM, NGTS, or other similar mission-level M&S framework
