Job Description

We are looking for Quality Assurance seasonal harvest workers for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts. The pay rate is $17.50 / hour. This position will begin as soon as June 9 and finish at the latest on July 18, 2025.

New hires will receive a One-Time Bonus of $450.00, less applicable tax withholding, if the following expectations are met:

- 100% attendance record for scheduled workdays during your seasonal position.

- Performance satisfactory or above in your duties.

If employment is satisfactory, you may have the opportunity for full-time employment, if available

QUALITY ASSUANCE SEASONAL HARVEST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform sanitation duties and quality testing.
  • Will help grade grain, run toxin tests, falling number tests, and conduct peanut testing.
  • Promote a work safety environment through knowledge of sanitation programs and commitment to a safe workplace for all.
  • Ensure food safety and food defense.
  • May be asked to do other duties as assigned.

QUALITY ASSURANANCE SEASONAL HARVEST QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Safety training is required and provided by the company in group settings, as well as individual computer-based training.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Available to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, and shift work may be required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position requires physical efforts such as straining, pulling, lifting, working, and standing and walking on concrete floors.
  • Exposure to elements such as noise, minable dust, cold and hot temperatures.
  • Extreme climate or climate variation
  • Heat up to 100 degrees and low to 40 degrees.
  • Changes of >30 degrees within a shift
  • Exposure to manufacturing equipment hazards, especially forklifts.
  • Climbing ladders.
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
