Job Summary and Qualifications

The Nurse Navigator functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team as an advocate and educator for patients from point of entry, through diagnostic studies, diagnosis and treatment plan. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support through the AHA or ARC
• Registered Nurse, current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse (RN) or current Multi-State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
• Certificate of qualification, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner according to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act (preferred) 
• Experience in program development (preferred) 
• Experience as a nurse navigator and/or patient educator (preferred) 
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or enrolled in Bachelors’ Degree in Nursing within 6 months of hire (required)
• Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred)
