The Orthopedics - Sports Medicine Physician position at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva, NC offers an opportunity to join a well-established hospital-employed group specializing in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. The role involves collaboration with the Western Carolina University Athletic Programs and a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists and athletic trainers. Harris Regional Hospital, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital in Sylva, North Carolina (45min outside Asheville) is growing with the addition of a full-time BC/BE Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon to strengthen our established team. Those who are currently practicing or are currently in training can be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity to build a busy practice and be part of an established group and work with Western North Carolina Athletic department!

Position Detail:

• Harris Orthopedics and Sports Medicine - Hospital employed group
• Join a very well respected group of physicians and APPs
• Full spectrum of sports medicine coverage that incorporate physicians, physical and occupational therapists and athletic trainers
• Work closely with the Western Carolina University Athletic Programs
• Clinic in hospital MOB-Physical Therapy located onsite
• Ideally looking for subspecialty training in Sports Medicine and Total Joints
• Satellite clinics in outlying areas

Harris Regional Hospital is an 86-bed acute care facility located in Sylva, NC. With a long-standing reputation for excellent care, this fully accredited hospital has been providing care to western North Carolina residents since 1929. Harris offers five major service lines, including orthopedics, cardiology, general surgery, women s care, and emergency medicine, as well as many other areas of subspecialty care.
