As You Wish is an established and well-loved company in the Denver suburbs. This is a wonderful opportunity for former nurses and vet techs! Immediate need for overnight sitters in Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch and Parker You must complete all portions of the application for consideration!

• Highly motivated individual must be over 21 years of age
• Own your business and function as an independent contractor/ licensee of As You Wish and will be compensated on a per job basis - great supplemental income!
• You must be an extremely detailed, friendly individual with exceptional customer service skills
• You must be available nights, weekends and holidays to apply for this position.
• Daytime availability a huge plus

Overnight Pet/House Sitter - Requirements and Qualifications

• You must be at client’s home from the hours of 8:30 pm – 7am, ability to perform mid day sits a plus!
• You must commit to work for As You Wish for at least 6 months to apply for this position.
• You must be available to sit for both short (1-2) nights to long (7-14) nights.
• You must provide two (2) local house-sitting references to apply for this position.
• You must have a deep love of animals to apply for this position.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable.
• Must be timely and punctual.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• You must have a car, auto insurance and a clean mvr.
• You must be able to self-manage.
• You must be able to administer first aid as necessary during the dog visit. This would include cuts to paws, feet, noses and/or insect bites, etc.
• You must possess the ability to take detailed notes and communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
• You must possess the ability to market your business to potential clients and business partners.
• You must have a cell phone preferably with text message capability and also be comfortable using a computer to generate reports and complete schedule.

Extended Stay Sitter - Requirements and Qualifications

• You must be at client’s home for up to 18 hours/day
• You must commit to work for As You Wish for at least 6 months to apply for this position.
• You must be available to sit for both short (1-2) nights to long (7-14) nights.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Activity Level: Medium –Walk, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, hear and see. Be able to walk up to 2.5 miles daily Occasional—Lifting up to 35 lbs. (Lifting dog into and out of vehicle or onto bed if necessary) Environment:—Indoors for 95% of the time

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of Pet First Aid/CPR training course.
• As You Wish encourages on-going training in animal related behavior, a professional certification course or attendance at the annual NAPPS Forum.
