Job Description

· Provide project management support to ground systems development, management, fabrication, and construction through ORR. (PWS 6.0.A)

· Support NASA Element Project Managers (EPMs) in the daily management of various ground Element projects from initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring through closure. (PWS 6.0.B)

· Support V&V planning, management, and field implementation oversight. (PWS 6.0.D)

· Support and develop project-specific performance measures to include EVM System (EVMS) analysis (or other performance measurement if EVM is not required). (PWS 6.0.E)

· Collect and integrate Program and Project performance data for reporting at various management review forums (e.g., Monthly Program Review and Performance Management Team). (PWS 6.0.F)

· Project performance data includes technical issues and accomplishments, schedule and cost variances, and risk management and quality assurance information.

· Track and provide schedule variances at the Functional Team level, measuring planned versus actual milestones, and tracking critical paths. Integrate all schedules with the lower level project schedules. (PWS 6.0.G)

· Assist NASA in guidance and policy development, integration of project development efforts, and participate in various management review forums. (PWS 6.0.H)

· Collect project status notes for each ground Element and associated projects to include relevant technical, cost, and schedule issues or accomplishments. (PWS 6.0.I)

· Support Construction of Facilities (CoF) planning and management for EGS ground systems. (PWS 6.0.K)

· Provide support to EGS Program integration activities that affect ground systems concepts, trade studies, and other preliminary work (e.g., interfaces, ConOps). (PWS 6.0.M)

· Support the definition and management of the inter-Element and Cross-Program interfaces related to requirements management, schedule management, design and development, V&V, and system acceptance and turnover. (PWS 6.0.N)

Duties (Specific Tasks)

Pad schedule management

· Pad schedule health checks are conducted bi-monthly with the Pad scheduler, Deputy PM and Pad EITs. Projects completion and schedule changes are reviewed, updated and/or validated.

Pad Subsystems design reviews and Construction of Facility (CoF) status reviews

· Review facility design packages

· Review subsystems design packages

· Participate in design review meetings

· Focus on potential technical, schedule, cost or risk impacts to subsystems or Pad overall

Pad SharePoint Administrator

· Manage overall Pad SharePoint Site

· Grant access permissions

· Data management

Meetings, including role

· PMT Monthly Review, monthly (scope, schedule, budget, and risk status)  Contributor
