Job Title: Patient Care Technician - Shifts Available

Job Summary

We are excited to offer a Patient Care Technician role with opportunities for career advancement and autonomy in patient care delivery. This position involves enhanced patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Job Duties

• Provides advanced patient care under the direction of the licensed nurse, including dressing care, suctioning, and specimen collection.
• Performs hands-on aspects of milk and formula preparation and delivery as required.
• Documents patient information accurately and communicates any changes in patient condition to licensed personnel.
• Assists with activities of daily living and designated patient safety watch.
• Participates in obtaining and communicating electronic information as pertinent to the nursing unit.
• Performs clerical duties, assists with ordering supplies, and coordinates patient transportation to tests.
• Assists with medication storage, supply, and transportation as necessary.
• Supports staff with drills, quality rounds, and regulatory readiness.

Position Details

We are hiring for all work shifts, including straight nights, straight days, and rotations. No experience needed as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)
