Job Description

Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist who specializes in pediatrics in a home health setting while contributing and collaborating on innovative ideas with other disciplines. We are a local home health therapy company owned and operated by a therapist. We provide home health and outpatient clinic services in the city of Houston, TX, and surrounding suburbs.

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care according to the patient's individual physician orders. Patient care may involve evaluations, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, care planning, communication with other members of the patients' multi-disciplinary team, emergency management, coordination of care, health promotion and teaching and training family members.

Requirements for an Occupational therapist (OT):
•Current active OT state license
•Current CPR certification

Responsibilities & duties for Occupational therapist (OT):
•Treat a variety of ages, up to 21 years of age
•Maintaining and keeping journal records - reports/notes
•Complete and submit notes/reports on time
•Complete and submit reassessment or evaluation on time
•Bilingual preferably Spanish
