Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups. The role involves collecting specimens for various tests, performing data entry, processing billing information, and providing superior customer service. Responsibilities + Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. + Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. + Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. + Process billing information and collect payments when required. + Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. + Maintain patient and specimen information logs. + Provide superior customer service to all patients. + Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. + Travel to additional sites when needed. Essential Skills + Phlebotomy skills and experience in blood draw techniques. + Phlebotomy certification from an accredited school. + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or equivalent. + Previous experience as a phlebotomist is preferred. Work Environment The position is based in a Patient Service Center (PSC) operating Monday through Friday from 7am to 4pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The role requires travel to additional sites when needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
