• The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients and plays a critical role in providing quality specimen collection services.
• This role involves drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established practices.
• The Phlebotomist I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.

• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.

• Minimum experience in phlebotomy.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboarding and data entry experience.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
