The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients and plays a critical role in providing quality specimen collection services.
This role involves drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and ensuring all procedures are performed safely, accurately, and in compliance with established practices.
The Phlebotomist I creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Requirement/Must Have:

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as required.
Experience:
Minimum experience in phlebotomy.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboarding and data entry experience.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
