About the Role:

The principal functions of this position include the safe and efficient operation of a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of food products as well as supply chain in our Peanut Producing Plant. This position is responsible for learning and working multiple jobs at the facility. This position can be placed in any General Labor opening, including Line Operator, Bar Packer, Overwrap Operator, Plant Cleaner, Palletizer, Forklift Operator among others, which means the position and shift will likely change week-to-week.

Main Responsibilities:

• Operates, monitors, and adjusts manufacturing equipment to maintain continuous production.
• Ensure proper texture, flavor, and consistency of product by following temperature guidelines.
• Help with the line set up and shut down procedures.
• Document parameter checks consistently and enter in system for tracking and optimization.
• Start and stop the automatic wrapping machines.
• Operate straight fork and slip-sheet fork trucks.
• Implement proper shutdown procedures for all equipment.
• Performs duties within GMP standards and maintains a clean and safe work environment.

Who we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical / vocational / associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Willing to work in a position that requires you to stand or walk almost continuously throughout the shift.
• Willing to work in a facility where milk, eggs, peanuts, soy and/or wheat allergens are processed, with or without accommodation.

Compensation Data

The base rate for this position is $29.04 hourly. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
