The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor works in the IIRP Graduate School's Student Services Unit and serves recruitment and enrollment initiatives at the IIRP. They will work together with prospective, applying, and admitted students interested in our graduate certificate and master's programs, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor will:
· Build relationships with students and act as their primary support through the recruitment and admissions process.
· Compile student admission materials and ensure completeness for review by the Admissions Committee. Inform students of the Admissions Committee decision. · Coordinate the prospective student stage of the student lifecycle and monitor each prospective student's progress toward enrollment.
· Collaborate with other units to create and maintain a multi-modal (example: emails, texts, direct mail, phone calls) communication schedule for prospective and applying students.
· Recommend, implement, and collaborate with other units to create, facilitate, and assess student recruitment initiatives, for example: workshops, webinars, orientation, and information sessions.
· Support the student enrollment process, including student onboarding and financial aid.
· Review recruitment and enrollment data, report on trends and collaborate with Communications team to enhance marketing campaigns.
· Actively participate in the development and implementation of process and system improvement specifically related to recruiting operations and administrative activities.
· Be responsible for timely and accurate management of student records and transcript requests.
· Understand and maintain compliance with privacy laws and institutional policies.
· Cross-train to support fellow unit members and back-up others as institutionally needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Required Qualifications/Experience
The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor must have:
· Bachelor's degree in business, higher education, social sciences, or other related fields.
· A minimum of two years' student recruitment experience in higher education.
· Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
· Critical thinking skills with a highly detailed-oriented approach.
· Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
· The ability to work effectively as a team and independently.
· Willingness and the ability to adapt and learn.
· Knowledge and proven experience of utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, spreadsheets, and databases
· Reliable internet and dedicated office space when working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience The Recruitment and Admissions Advisor will excel if they are/have:
· Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and/or other Student Information Systems and databases.
· Knowledge of the field of restorative practices and its framework.
· Knowledge of higher education.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to navigate to the Bethlehem, PA office 20% of the time.
· Ability to lift 20 pounds.
