Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients while adhering to compliance standards. This candidate should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize those needs with the needs outlined by providers and facility. These duties can vary depending on the specific services offered by the medical spa and the nurse's level of experience and certification.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assure quality care by adhering to standards, policies and procedures set by the providers
  • Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
  • Administer IV therapy and in office medication management based on order provided
  • Obtain Vital Signs & body compositions
  • Assist Provider with any in office procedures
  • Provide assessment & obtain medical history within scope of practice
  • Assist with minimally invasive procedures such as chemical peels, body contouring, laser treatments, botox/fillers (additional training maybe required), micro-needling,
  • Monitoring Clients during and after procedures
  • managing & storing medications securely
  • Tracking inventory & medical supplies
  • Ordering and restocking supplies as needed
  • Assist with providing pre and post procedure after care instructions
  • Work closely with other members of the medical team to provide comprehensive medical care
  • Training and supervising other staff members on certain protocols and procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current licensure
  • ADN or BSN degree
  • CPR, and BCLS Certification
  • Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
  • Candidate must be able to critically think
  • Intravenous therapy (IV) proficiency
