Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our critical care team. This full-time night shift role offers competitive pay, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients across all ICU specialties.

Key Details

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) + every other weekend/holiday
• Patient Ratio: 1:1 – 2:1
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Licensure: Rhode Island RN license or Compact license preferred
• Salary Range: $65,201 – $89,856 annually
• Weekly Range: $1,253.88 – $1,728.00

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, caring for all types of ICU patients (medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, trauma, etc.)
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients with complex conditions
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate advanced medical equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient care accurately in EMR systems
• Support patients and families with compassion and clear communication

Qualifications

• Current RN license (RI or Compact preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience required
• AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
