HSHS St John’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Cath Lab Team. Ideal candidates would have cardiac experience, CVCU, CVICU or CVOR preferred, are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in our patient care areas of greatest need covering a variety of departments and wide range of conditions. Position Specifics: Department: Post Cath Lab; Schedule: Full time, 36 hrs/wk, Days (three 12 hour shifts) and on call rotation; On Call Requirements: 30 minute response time / On Call Sleep Rooms available; Facility: Prairie Heart Institute at St. John’s Hospital; Location: Springfield, IL; Sign On: Up to $20,000 for external candidates; Compensation that aligns with experience. Education Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required. Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred. Experience Qualifications: Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations: Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are required based on the patient population in the specialty area worked. Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) are preferred. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36.
