Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IAM/APM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) and Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions within a regulated pharmaceutical/life sciences environment. The ideal candidate should bring deep functional and technical expertise in asset management, along with domain experience in GxP-compliant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and deployment of SAP IAM/APM solutions including SAP Asset Central Foundation, SAP Predictive Asset Insights, SAP Asset Strategy and Performance Management.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, maintenance, reliability, and compliance teams to understand asset management requirements and ensure alignment with pharma regulations.
• Integrate SAP IAM/APM with SAP S/4HANA (EAM), ERP systems, and external IoT platforms or sensors for predictive maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Design master data and asset hierarchy frameworks aligned to industry standards such as ISO 14224 or ISO 55000.
• Ensure solutions support 21 CFR Part 11 , GAMP 5, and other relevant compliance and validation requirements in life sciences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, IT, Compliance) to align asset performance strategies with enterprise goals.
• Drive innovation through advanced analytics, digital twins, and AI-driven insights in asset health and lifecycle planning.
• Provide guidance on SAP BTP extensions, integration patterns, and data governance for IAM/APM solutions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with at least 3+ years in SAP IAM/APM technologies.
• Background in Life Sciences , Biotech , or Medical Devices is highly required.
• Deep knowledge of SAP Intelligent Asset Management suite : Asset Central, APM, PAI, ASPM, and mobile asset solutions.
• Experience in implementing IAM/APM in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical or medical device environments.
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle, maintenance strategies (corrective, preventive, predictive), and reliability engineering.
• Familiarity with integration of IoT/Edge devices , condition-based monitoring tools, and analytics platforms.
• SAP S/4HANA expertise is a strong plus.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills, including solution design and validation deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate Intelligent Asset Management or S/4HANA EAM.
• Experience with digital twin technology and machine learning in asset performance.
• Working knowledge of ISO 55000 , GAMP 5, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
