Job Description

Baer is looking for SAP Performance Load Analyst for a 6+ month remote project.

Title: SAP Performance Load Analyst

Location: Remote and possible 10-15% travel (West Palm Beach, FL )

Duration: 6 months

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: C2C

Description:

• Work with SAP Fiori apps, understanding their architecture and optimization for performance.
• Monitor SAP Basis systems, ensuring system health and managing infrastructure (e.g., database, memory, and CPU usage).
• Optimize performance in SAP HANA environments, especially in S/4HANA systems, and ensure smooth Fiori app performance.
• Manage and optimize SAP integration tools such as SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and other middleware solutions.
• Monitor and ensure optimal performance of integrations between SAP and external systems using protocols like IDocs, REST, and SOAP.
• Utilize SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM for system diagnostics and performance management.
• Experience with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, SolarWinds, New Relic, LoadRunner, NeoLoad) for SAP systems is a plus.
• Set up automated alerts and performance thresholds to identify and respond to performance anomalies.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify performance issues (e.g., slow transactions, integration delays).
• Optimize performance in SAP environments, especially in the frontend (Fiori apps) and backend integrations.
• Troubleshoot SAP and integration-related issues to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Utilize SAP transaction codes (e.g., ST03N, ST22, SM21, SM37) for performance diagnostics.
• Use scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automating tasks, analyzing logs, and generating reports.
• Experience with SAP Focused Run for real-time monitoring is a plus.
• Collaborate with internal teams (SAP Basis, development, and business teams) to address issues and align performance with business needs.
• Analyze complex SAP performance data and make informed decisions to improve system performance.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude to ensure performance aligns with business objectives.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in SAP system monitoring and performance optimization, with a focus on Fiori, integrations, and system health.
• Experience in large-scale SAP environments or complex landscapes is a plus.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate
• SAP Certified Application Associate (Fiori or Basis)
• SAP Certified Integration Associate
