Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting, this contract position in Saint Albans, VT, supports a diverse student population with varying disabilities. The role involves primarily consultation and some assessment responsibilities for approximately 50 students, mostly at the high school level. This is an onsite opportunity with a flexible schedule of up to 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Conduct consultations to support student needs and provide recommendations to educators and staff.
• Perform assessments to identify student strengths and areas requiring intervention.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license.
• Experience working with a student caseload that includes varying disabilities.
• Strong background in consultation and direct assessment within an educational setting.
• Ability to manage a caseload of around 50 students effectively.
• Commitment to providing services onsite in the assigned school environment.
