We are looking for 3 seasonal field laborers to work in Preston, ID.

The pay rate is $22.00 / hour. This position will begin anytime starting August 4 – August 29, 2025. The average workday is 7 am - 7 pm. There may be days that start as early as 5:00 am.

FIELD SEASONAL LABORER RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include driving tractors, operating grain bagging systems, replacing bags, maintaining equipment, and light maintenance activities.

• Assist with during harvesting season
• Maintain and repair farm machinery and equipment
• Operate farming tractors, grain bagging systems, and replace bags
• Farm laborers are the backbone of the agricultural sector, providing essential hands-on work to maintain support for our milling operation.
• They also need to be mindful of safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.
• This role requires physical strength and stamina, as it involves a lot of lifting, bending, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

FIELD SEASONAL LABORER QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in a similar role on a farm
• Knowledge of farming best practices
• Able to work in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Familiarity with farm machinery and equipment
• Able to drive a tractor and operate grain bagging systems
• Valid driver's license

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• This position requires physical efforts such as straining, pulling, lifting, working, and standing and walking outdoors.
• Exposure to elements such as noise, minable dust, cold and hot temperatures.
• Extreme climate or climate variation.
• Heat up to 100 degrees
• Exposure to farm equipment hazards.
• Climbing ladders.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
