Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a student-focused Center designed to prepare our young adults for the workforce. If you are interested in shaping the lives of our 16-24 year old students then Delaware Valley Job Corps is the place for you. We are looking for an exceptional Security Trade Instructor to join our growing team of professionals.

SCHEDULED HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:45am – 4:45pm

Security Trade Instructor Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing students with industry recognized instruction and training in the security field leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training. 
li Responsible to provide students with Security Trade training leading industry recognized credentials. 
li Provides students with comprehensive and individualized case management that ensures student progress, achievement and completion of Job Corps program.
li Provides quality career technical training that leads to student placement.
li Ensures classroom is well organized and conducive to student learning. Holds students accountable for following Center’s dress code/behavioral standard of conduct.

Security Trade Instructor QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required.
Certified, licensed, or accredited in New York state or accredited by a professional trade organization. 
Must possess a valid Driver’s License and meet company insurability requirements.
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
