We are seeking to add to our entrepreneurial and dynamic culture with a Social Media & Content Associate Manager.

Position Description:

Were looking for a creative and strategic Social Media & Content Associate Manager to lead our voice across platforms and bring our brand to life online. In this role, youll connect with global audiences through compelling content that educates, inspires, and sparks conversations about air quality, wellness, and sustainability. You'll drive social strategy, create content, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and creators to tell powerful stories from quick-turn reels to seasonal campaigns.

We believe that were better together. Our team is hybrid and requires applicants to live commuting distance from a Blueair office (NYC or Chicago Loop) and be in-office Tuesday-Thursday. For this role, NYC is preferred.

Responsibilities and Functions:

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute platform-specific strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms
• Own and manage monthly social calendars, featuring air quality topics, product launches, seasonal trends, and thought leadership content
• Monitor platform trends and evolving best practices to keep our brand ahead of the curve

Content Creation

• Produce engaging short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
• Design visually compelling social posts using UGC, lifestyle photography, and influencer content
• Coordinate shoots and collaborate with creators in the wellness, sustainability, and consumer tech space

Partnerships & Collaboration

• Work with influencer marketing, PR, and retail teams (e.g., Best Buy, Amazon) to align and amplify social campaigns
• Contribute to earned media strategy and develop reactive content around trending news or air quality events
• Be ready to dive into new opportunities as they arisewhether it's jumping on a trend, pitching a big idea, or helping out in areas that stretch beyond your typical scope

Community & Performance (in partnership with agency)

• Engage with our online community in a warm, thoughtful, and brand-aligned tone
• Build relationships with micro-influencers, health professionals, and environmental advocates
• Track social KPIs (reach, engagement, video views, CTR) and make data-informed optimizations
• Partner on monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for leadership

Qualifications:

• 25 years of experience in social media or content marketing within wellness, lifestyle, or consumer tech
• Strong portfolio showcasing short-form video, visual content, and successful campaigns
• Proven experience growing communities (e.g., 100K+ followers or exceeding benchmark engagement rates)
• Familiarity with design and publishing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Later, and Sprout Social
• Strong knowledge of platform algorithms, new features, and emerging trends (e.g., TikTok SEO, Threads)
• Bonus: Experience working with Nordic or sustainability-forward brands

Pay: The base salary pay range for this position is $55,000 to $85,000 per year. Blueair takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
