Insight Global is looking for a Sr Azure Security Engineer for a large financial client. This Security Engineer will blend hands-on expertise with architectural insights to safeguard Azure infrastructure. On a day to day basis the engineer will help to design security solutions through IAM, posture management, workload protection, SIEM/SOAR and application development. Strong understanding of FedRamp and Zero Trust Architecture is essential. In addition they will be be collaborating with agile teams to ensure security requirements are woven into development cycles. This role is approximate 20% design policy and documentation and 80% deployment and implantation. This position is 5 days per week onsite in Omaha, NE Berkeley Heights, NJ or Frisco, TX and can pay between 90-100/hr depending on years of experience. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of cyber-related experience in a commercial environment with Azure, focusing on technical information security and risk management. Microsoft Azure Cloud experience (GovCloud preferred) Familiarity with Azure security tools/platforms (e.g., Azure AD, Sentinel, Defender, Monitor, Key Vault) Identity Access and Management concepts (including multifactor authentication and SSO/Federation) Demonstrated expertise in Information Security and Experience risk Management across Windows and Linux Nice to Have Skills & Experience INFOSEC Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CISM. Microsoft Certifications/Exams (recommended): Sc-100 Cybersecurity Architect, Sc-300 Identity and Access Administration, AZ-500 Azure Security Engineer. Crowdstrike Falcon EDR for Azure. Managing/maintaining FISM.
