Southern New Hampshire is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Writing Assistant for The Center for the Arts organization. The Center for the Arts (CFA) is looking for a writer to help with the communication needs of a bustling arts organization. The CFA sends multiple press releases and marketing materials regularly and could use the help of a creative and talented writer to capture the story of the CFA to media outlets and sources. This is great experience for someone interested in communications, marketing, writing, or public relations.
Job Responsibilities: Great experience for an art enthusiast interested in marketing or public relations. Though this is primarily a writing job a good understanding of the typical marketing STP (Strategy, Target, Position) will come in handy. However, any type of writer could do well in this role.
Minimum Qualifications: - Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study part of financial aid package
- Students with work study may be prioritized
- Published writing experience ideal but not required
- Understanding of basic marketing principles helpful
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Good problem solving skills
- Research skills and sourcing helpful
- Ability to work with limited direction
- Responsible and reliable
- Able to work with deadlines and manage changing priorities

Compensation The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
