Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required Position The National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) is the combination of technology, policies, capabilities, doctrine, activities, people, data, and communities necessary to produce geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) in an integrated multi-intelligence, multi-domain environment.
Apogee's ideal SE&I candidate will guide and contribute to engineering teams taking a multi-discipline approach to requirements, solutions, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test & evaluation, maintainability, and analysis across the NSG, Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and mission partners. What You'll Do - Capture and translate mission and customer needs into systems/capability requirements and solutions
- Provide planning, analysis, traceability of mission requirements, architecture components to acquisition and executing programs
- Guide system engineers developing solution designs based on analysis of requirements & new technology
- Review cloud service capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
- Systems Engineer & Integrate (SE&I) systems, services, processes, and interfaces for Major Systems Acquisitions spanning organizational and agency boundaries
- Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Course of Actions (CoAs), Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments
- Work with Government to develop strategic technical, project & risk manage, performance plans, and design interfaces
Required - Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or other STEM degree program or related equivalent additional experience
- Experience in: DoD/IC Acquisition, Requirements & PPBES Process, SE of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architectures residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures
- Experience with and understanding of full systems engineering lifecycle
Desired Skills - Master's degree in Systems Engineering or other STEM degree program (Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Ops Research, CompSci, ...)
- Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), processes, tools and languages
- Working knowledge of SaFE Agile processes & Software Development Frameworks
- INCOSE Certified Systems engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
