Job Title: Aircraft Painter
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced aircraft painter responsible for inspecting parts, prepping surfaces, mixing coatings, and applying primers and topcoats according to technical specifications. The ideal candidate must adhere to safety protocols, manage time effectively, and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts and determine the correct paint process.
• Mix and apply primers, epoxies, and topcoats.
• Prep surfaces with minor sanding.
• Paint various metals and surfaces.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain booth filters and equipment.
• Complete tasks on time and support team goals.

• 5+ years of aircraft painting experience.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in paint preparation, mixing, and measuring.
• Proficiency with industrial painting techniques and tools such as HVLP and spray guns.

• Experience in aerospace industry is advantageous.
• Training on respirator will be required.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to fumes from chemicals and paint. It is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and efficiency. The position is for a graveyard shift from Sunday to Thursday, 9 PM to 5:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
