Bestica is seeking a travel Anesthesia Technician for a travel job in Asheville, North Carolina.

Requested Skill Set:  Provides technical and clinical support to licensed Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists in various clinical settings including the Operating Rooms, Pre-operative areas, Post Anesthesia Care units, and Procedural areas (Endoscopy, Interventional and/or Diagnostic radiology), Ambulatory Surgery sites, Dental suites, and on the hospital units in the event of emergency. The Anesthesia Technician will assist with duties such as transportation, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management, within the anesthesia technician scope of practice and under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia provider and/or registered nurse. The Anesthesia Technician will provide support for routine and/or emergency surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician will assist by taking call as assigned

Must have :

2 years experience

· Required Education: High school graduate or Equivalent

· Preferred Education: Graduate of an ASATT approved program

· Preferred License: None Required Experience: 2 years experience working as an anesthesia technician

Advanced skills needed: BLS
