\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience\n
• Recent telemetry nursing experience required\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• NIHSS certification preferred\n

\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Cardiac Stepdown and Observation unit\n
• Monitor and assess patients requiring cardiac observation and telemetry monitoring\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to determine patient disposition (admission or safe discharge)\n
• Manage a fast-paced clinical environment with 20-27 patient turnovers per day\n
• Provide care for both short-stay and full admission patients\n
• Participate in rotating shifts, including on-call and holiday coverage as needed\n
