B2B Staffing Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Glens Falls, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.

 

As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - OR PMCS - /> EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE EXPERIENCE ON SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO PREVENT DELAYS ! THANK YOU

 

Treatments Available:

• Intravenous (IV) antibiotics
• IV antifungal
• IV steroids for inflammatory conditions (Solumedrol)
• Blood and blood product transfusions
• Maintenance of Central Venous access devices
• Placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICC lines)
• IV Immune Globulin therapy (IVIG)
• Hydration therapy
• IV/IM vitamins
• Care and maintenance of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps
• Iron infusions (Venofer and Injectafer)
• Teaching for self-administration of medications (Humira, Lovenox, treatment for Hepatitis C)
• Therapeutic Phlebotomies
• Specialty medications:
  • Remicade, Renflexis, Inflectra or Orencia for Crohns, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Simponi for RA, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, or Ulcerative Colitis (UC)
  • Simponi Aria for RA, Psoriatic Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis
  • Actemra and Rituxan for Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Stelara for Crohn’s Disease, Plaque Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis
  • Tysabri, Ocrevus or Lemtrada for Multiple Sclerosis
  • Boniva, Reclast, or Prolia for bone loss
  • Epogen, Procrit or Aranesp for anemia due to chronic kidney disease
  • Xolair, Nucala and Fasenra for allergic asthma
  • Entyvio for Ulcerative Colitis or Crohns
  • Radicava for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
    
     

GLENS FALLS IS A MAGNET-RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION!

 

• 2+years Current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion
• Chemo Cert (ONS) and Oncology Certified RN (OCN) - REQUIRED
• Peripheral IV Insertion experience - Required
• Port/Fistula/Catheter experience Required
• IV Certification - Highly preferred
• EPIC Experience - Required
• Previous traveler preferred
• BSN preferred
• EPIC Experience - Required

Profile Requirements: 

• Work History
• Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
• 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
• License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, ONC Cert, CHEMO CERT, ACLS, PERM ADDRESS and de-escalation training proofs - Facility will not pend license/certs)

MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Permanent address must be included in profile. Address must match Driver License/State ID. Address will be validated during compliance process. 
Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile):
