As a Unarmed Security Guard - Manufacturing Facility in Ladson, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment through regular patrols and a strong visible presence. Your responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. This position requires you to meet AU driver policy requirements, as driving is an essential part of your daily duties. You will have the opportunity to interact with employees and visitors, respond to incidents as needed, and communicate clearly and professionally at all times. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while on patrol.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and/or unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points during patrols, helping to maintain an orderly environment.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
