Job Description

VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
The primary role of the position is to park and retrieve automobiles for members and guests in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
In this role you will (but not limited to):
Greet guests in a polite, friendly manner
Assist guests in and out of automobiles
Direct guests to the appropriate location of the function they are attending
Park automobiles in an organized fashion for efficient retrieval
Issue and collect automobile claim tickets
Inform guests of road and weather conditions, as well as any problems detected with the car (low fuel, breaks, etc.)
Prevent unauthorized entry
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to work independently, as well as to accept and follow directions on given assignments
Valid driver’s license
Ability to remain upright throughout an entire shift
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests
Ability to operate motor vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions
Organizational skills to ensure that keys are easy to retrieve and vehicles are simple to locate
Ability to move quickly to reduce the wait for guests
Knowledge of the area to answer guests’ questions
Communication skills to interact with other Valets and provide instructions to guests
Ability to move heavy objects to aid in the loading and unloading of vehicles
