Job Description

River Oaks Baptist School is currently seeking a capable, responsible and highly organized Virtual Assistant to support administrative tasks and coordinate with the school’s online operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with working remotely with various online tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling of appointments, maintaining calendars, managing emails and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate with teachers, parents and students, providing information and support where necessary.
• Assist in the preparation and editing of online course content, maintaining up-to-date and organized files and databases.
• Conduct online research to support projects and initiatives as directed.
• Oversee and manage online platforms used for remote learning, ensuring that all materials are readily available, up-to-date and that technical issues are addressed promptly.
• Participate in online meetings, taking minutes and following up on action items where required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent in office administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• At least two years of experience as a virtual assistant, administrative assistant, or in a related role.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is crucial for communication.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, and attention to detail.
• Strong technical skills including proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with online meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Experience with educational management systems would be a plus.
• A professional and positive demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
