Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder proficient in MIG, Flux Core, and STICK welding techniques. The role involves welding on heavy gauge materials of 1 inch and above, setting up and operating welding machines, performing simple fabrication tasks, and using hand tools and measuring devices. Successful candidates will complete welds within specific time frames, perform simple layouts, and utilize torches, air arcs, and hand grinding tools to fix imperfections. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols is essential, as is maintaining a clean work area.

Work Environment
Work in a large production steel fabrication shop equipped with several CNC machines and welding booths. This facility is located in an historic building that can experience temperature variations with the seasons, so steel toes and appropriate weld gear are required. The company supplies products to major clients and has secured a long-term project ensuring work for the next five years.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
