Dixon is looking for a 2nd shift CNC Operator to join our team in Chestertown, MD! This person will learn to set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) mills and lathes to produce precision metal components and inspect products to drawing specifications. Learn to recognize machining issues and make adjustments as needed. Hours are from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to use hand tools

• Ability to read blueprints
\n
• Ability to use measuring tools
\n
• Ability to use shop mathematics
\n
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
\n
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds throughout a shift
\n
