Job Description: This internship will take place onsite in Duluth, MN from May 2025 through August 2025.
Cirrus Aircraft is looking for an intern to join our Environmental Health & Safety Team. This intern will be working side by side with members of the team to gain hands on experience in a large manufacturing setting.
Qualifications: - Self-motivated; able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
- Handle multiple activities simultaneously and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Environmental safety experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Day to Day tasks/projects may involve: - Environmental: air permitting, stormwater sampling, industrial hygiene monitoring
- Respirator fit tests
- New hire safety orientation support
- Job hazard assessments
- Injury/near miss metrics and response
- Safety committee involvement
Education/Training: - Environmental Health & Safety or relevant degree in progress.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Requirements: - Must be pursuing relevant degree.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to complete entire duration of internship.
- Must be able to secure local housing for duration of internship.
