Position Summary: The Minnesota Twins Content team is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to be our 2025 Content Creator - Video/Editing intern. This internship provides an opportunity to grow your video creation and storytelling skills while working for one of the teams in Major League Baseball. This role will report to the Manager, Video Production and will be responsible for shooting, editing and creating stories on and off the field. This role will work closely with our entire content team and the focus of the work will be organizational wide depending on the assignment. A passionate storyteller who's willing to grow, learn and develop while in this role would be a great fit for our 2025 Content Creator - Video/Editing internship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Assist the Twins Creative team in capturing, editing and producing promotional videos, social executions, graphics and animations.
- Shoot and edit game day highlights in a timely manner.
- Support our community initiatives by creating content off-the-field as requested and volunteering when able.
- Contribute and assist in the production of long form story telling videos such as "The Diamond."
- Create content and support brand marketing and/or social media initiatives throughout the season.
- Use an already established set of video production skills to elevate, develop and learn video production in a collaborative and exciting environment.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Ability to think conceptually.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and professional/DSLR cameras.
- Able to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize, pivot and adjust while working in a high energy environment.
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Bachelor's degree in video production, communications or a related field.
Physical Requirements: - Able to lift items 35 pounds as needed.
Time Commitment: February 2025 - October 2025. Hours: 40 hours/week. Pay Rate: $17/hour. Are you excited about the opportunity but don't meet every single requirement?
