JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a mature and optimistic individual who is seeking a busy, stable environment. This position is responsible for the overall managerial operations of a busy 5-provider specialist office. The Practice Manager is responsible for leadership of personnel, revenue cycle, compliance, and operating oversight, escalated patient care matters, and financial responsibility for the budget. This position will work in collaboration with our Centralized Business Office operations team to ensure physician and practice success.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of physician practice management experience in a specialty office setting.
  • Knowledge of medical billing/coding and medical terminology experience as a Practice Manager.
  • Thorough understanding of medical front office operations including reception/registration, surgery scheduling, determination of eligibility, referrals and prior authorizations.
  • Must have 3-5 years of physician office or facility Revenue Cycle experience including patient registration, insurance verification, authorization, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and denial management.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the Practice Consultant to develop and implement marketing strategies that promote provider visibility, patient acquisition, and referral growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with Physicians, other medical professionals, office personnel, employees, and patients
  • Excellent analytical, multi-taskin,g and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy and knowledge of relevant health care and administrative software
  • NextGen experience is strongly preferred
  • Good leadership, motivation, training, and goal-setting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Financial and accounting skills
  • Knowledge of finance best practices and standards
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
