Responsibilities Determine creditworthiness by obtaining credit history, assets and liabilities, income and employment verification, and performing a background check Proactively stay abreast of mortgage industry trends and lending rate sheets; maintain strong relationships with mortgage lending sources / mortgage bankers, and establish referral relationships with real estate professionals Submit application file to lenders in order to apply on the homeowners’ behalf Explain varying loan products, buying or refinance process, and lending guidelines to applicants Determine each applicant’s or borrower’s specific lending or refinance needs after conducting a thorough interview Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is preferred in economics, business administration, banking, finance, or real estate law Have a strong understanding of loan products and loan process from origination to close 5 years of mortgage loan origination or loan officer experience required Up to date NMLS licensure or National Association of Mortgage Broker license or certification is required Exceptional communications skills, time-management and analysis skills, and independently resourceful Compensation $150,000, at plan earnings. #J-18808-Ljbffr Alt Financial Network, Inc.
