Job Description: The Senior Associate will work directly with the BREDS Public Investments business, which is responsible for sourcing, analyzing and executing all liquid, real estate-related debt investments on behalf of Blackstone Real Estate. The Senior Associate will be responsible for credit underwriting on new corporate credit investments and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of real estate-related corporate investments. The Senior Associate's work may include:

  • Conducting financial analysis and fundamental due diligence for both public and private companies.
  • Performing quarterly financial reviews to monitor credit strength and identify key trends.
  • Tracking and communicating material company developments to relevant stakeholders.
  • Interpreting and summarizing credit agreements to ensure compliance and understanding of key terms.
  • Building and maintaining complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
  • Preparing investment packages and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Collaborating with the team to collect, organize, and process documentation and credit-related information.
  • Conducting industry-level analysis to assess relative value within the portfolio and identify broader industry headwinds and tailwinds.

  • Education: Undergraduate degree from a top-tier academic institution.
  • Experience: 3+ years experience in sales and trading, investment banking, or investment management experience.

Expected annual base salary range: $175,000 - $200,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
