Job Overview:

Alta Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Tile Installer / Tile Setter to join our expanding home remodeling team. In this hands-on role, youll be responsible for installing beautiful tile work across kitchens, bathrooms, floors, backsplashes, and more. If you take pride in clean lines, detailed craftsmanship, and transforming spaces with your hands, this opportunity is made for you.

Based out of Everett, WA, this role supports remodeling projects across the greater Seattle area. Youll work alongside project leads and other trades to deliver exceptional results that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and specialty tiles for residential projects.
• Prepare and level surfaces; apply waterproofing systems and follow precise layout techniques.
• Measure, cut, and fit tiles using wet saws, snap cutters, grinders, and hand tools.
• Mix, apply, and clean grout with consistent precision and attention to detail.
• Inspect finished work to ensure alignment with quality standards and project specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
• Coordinate with project leads, designers, and fellow trades to meet project timelines.
• Load, unload, and transport tools and materials to and from job sites.
• Follow all company safety practices and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional tile installation experience (residential preferred).
• Expertise in layout, prep, waterproofing, and setting tile to industry standards.
• Proficient with tile saws, hand tools, and related equipment.
• High attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor safely.
• Strong work ethic reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid drivers license and dependable transportation required.
• Willingness to grow professionally through training and team collaboration.

Schedule:

• Full-Time: Monday to Friday
• Project hours may vary based on site needs and deadline

Location:

• Based in Everett, WA 98208, with travel to job sites across the Seattle metro area, including Bellevue, Kirkland, and Issaquah.
