Semi Truck Mechanic - Entry to Experienced Levels

Location: Romeoville, IL

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)

Compensation Tiers:
Entry-Level: $18-$23/hr (some experience, willing to train)
Experienced Mechanic (3+ years): $25/hr Range
Master Mechanic (with credentials): $40/hr Range


Job Summary:
We're looking for a reliable and motivated Mechanic to join our team in Romeoville, IL. This is a great opportunity for someone with basic automotive experience who wants to grow their skills - ideal for candidates with a background at places like Jiffy Lube or similar shops. Training is provided by a Master Mechanic.


Responsibilities:
Perform basic maintenance on semi-trucks including oil changes, brake and tire replacements, and air filter or fluid changes. Assist with general upkeep and cleaning of the shop and warehouse area. Follow direction from the Master Mechanic and learn advanced repair and maintenance procedures. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.


Requirements:

• Basic mechanical experience (automotive or truck maintenance preferred).
• Own set of tools preferred
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Compensation Tiers:
Entry-Level: $18-$23/hr (some experience, willing to train)
Experienced Mechanic (3+ years): around $25/hr
Master Mechanic (with credentials): up to $40/hr
