We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Teradata Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Teradata database development, data modelling, and ETL processes. Candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions to support our data-driven initiatives. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $115k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Teradata database solutions to meet business requirements. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. Optimize existing SQL queries and data models for performance improvements. Ensure data integrity and quality through rigorous testing and validation processes. Assist in the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions. Create and maintain documentation for database design, processes, and procedures. Stay updated with the latest Teradata features and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience working with Teradata databases. Strong proficiency in SQL and Teradata-specific tools and utilities. Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Datastage) is a plus. Familiarity with data modelling concepts and practices. Understanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques in Teradata. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. We offer: A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
