GRAPHIC/VISUAL DESIGNER - Onsite/Remote -  U.S. based applicants only.

Wanderboat is an AI-native life search and outing discovery app—think “TikTok meets Google Maps,” designed for real-world exploration. We combine LLM-powered chat, real-world visuals, and community-driven recommendations to help people plan outings, uncover hidden gems, and share unique moments that inspire others. From finding a late-night hangout to curating a perfect weekend getaway, Wanderboat is your always-on, real-life companion for exploration.

We’re post-Series A (~$100M post), backed by top-tier investors, and seeing breakout traction in NYC, SF, Chicago, and LA. Responsibilities

  • Design and refine visual assets across web, mobile, and marketing channels
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and UX teams to ensure cohesive branding
  • Maintain and evolve the visual design system and style guides
  • Create engaging motion graphics for product, social, and marketing use
  • Create visual assets for social media, marketing materials, blogs, and email campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in visual/graphic design, ideally with tech or startup clients
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate strategy into striking visuals
  • Strong layout, typography, and visual storytelling skills
  • Fluency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After EffectsBonus

Bonus if you

  • Experienced in editing videos and developing engaging narratives
