We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Technician to support a 24/7 operational facility in Dayton, OH. This is a full-time position with on-call responsibilities, providing critical support for building operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance and be capable of responding to emergency situations, performing general repairs, and supporting on-site staff needs.

Pay $23.34 an hour: or The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

· Serve as the primary technician on-site at the designated facility.

\n

·  Respond to emergency maintenance issues and support on-call 

\n

· Perform general building maintenance including:

\n

o Minor plumbing repairs

\n

o Able to perform HVAC preventative maintenance on equipment

\n

o Preventative maintenance on ice machines, and cleaning.

\n

o Monitor equipment and replace water filters on schedules.

\n

o Assure restroom facilities are operational and repaired when needed.

\n

o Mounting TVs and equipment

\n

o Room setup and support for meetings

\n

· Basic landscaping knowledge and experience (ie: planting seasonal flowers; operate leaf blower on sidewalks/paths etc.).

\n

· Assure snow and ice are clear as needed as a backup to the contracted snow removal team.

\n

· Act as the go-to resource for facility-related requests from staff.

\n

· Maintain a proactive approach to building upkeep and service delivery.

\n

Qualifications:

\n

· Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.

\n

· Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems (no certification required, but familiarity is essential).

\n

· Skilled in basic plumbing, and general handyman tasks.

\n

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

\n

· Excellent communication and customer service skills.

\n

· Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are a plus but not required.

\n

Additional Information:

\n

· This role requires on-call availability for emergencies, including nights and weekends.

\n

· The technician will support a critical operations facility with high service expectations.

\n

· Recruitment support will be provided by a local team with expertise in skilled trades.

\n
