About the role:

We have an exciting opening for a Machine Operator in our Rubber Department located at our Augusta location. Read more to see if this amazing job opportunity is for you:

What you'll do:

1. Set up and operate a wide variety of manual and CNC machine tools and hand finishing operations.
2. Inspect tooling equipment for necessary repairs to maintain in proper condition as required.
3. Verify conformance of patterns and tool dimensions to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometers.
4. Construct fixtures, and jigs for holding and placing tooling or dies.
5. Conduct test runs with completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
6. Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
7. Use a wide variety of precision measuring devices.
8. Work in a safe and orderly manner at all times. Adheres to plant, department and area rules and regulations.
9. Maintains a clean and orderly work area at all times
10. Own and maintain toolbox and necessary tools to measure tooling.
11. Other duties and responsibilities as required.
