IBI is a two year school which teaches the Bible in such a way that its truths can be applied to your daily life, enabling you to walk in closer fellowship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. IBI’s emphasis is practical understanding of the scriptures so you may tap into the power of God in every aspect of your life.

IBI is not just for those who are called to full time ministry. We are here to equip Christians with the Biblical understanding they need to lead a victorious life and to be a better witness in their own circle of influence. The school is open to any Christians who desire to strengthen their walk with God and to be better equipped for service in their own Church. You do not have to be a member of our Church. The main qualification is a desire to know God and to serve him more effectively. Men and women who have attended IBI have become more effective in serving Christ in their own congregations.

The academic calendar runs from September to June. Class times are from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Mondays (for First Year) and Tuesdays (for Second Year). All students are required to have a cap and gown, and attend the graduation exercises.

Upon completion of the first year, the student will receive a certificate in Theology (C.Th.). The two year program awards a diploma, graduate in Theology (G.Th.). Certificate and Diplomas in Theological studies are acceptable for transfer credits towards graduate and doctoral programs at IBC Seminary, Missouri.

I have never met a Christian who did not desire to grow stronger in Jesus Christ. Of course, the obvious question I most often hear is: How?

Jesus said that heaven and earth would pass away, but His Word would never pass away. He prayed that the Father would sanctify you through the truth declaring that, “Thy Word is truth.” Jesus said to his disciples, “Now you are clean through the Word I have spoken unto you.”

IBI is designed to develop believers in Spirit, Soul and Body. We believe God’s will is for every believer to live a victorious life 365 days a year. The word of God speaks to every area of our lives, and we know that it teaches us how to be the best we possibly can be for God. The Bible is taught in such a way that its truth can be applied to our daily life, enabling us to walk in closer fellowship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Hebrews 11:6 says “…God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him“.
